This adaptor plate lets you use LINQ fuel tanks and other accessories made for Ski doos on your factory Arctic Cat ATACH mounts. Unlike other adaptors ours includes the LINQ base kit already installed a $40 value. This adaptor plate has two locations one in the center and one offset. We install the base kit offset and towards the rear to give the most clearance from your Cat accessories. Plate adaptor bases are reversable also making it very adjustable. To install unscrew the stainless rubber tip set screws until they dont stick out the bottom of base plates. Then just install the adaptor like you do on any ATACH accessorie and then to lock it in place thread the set screws in using a 3/16 allen until they bottom out against the tunnel do not tighten just snug them to make sure not to add any extra stress to the plastic Cat mounts that could cause them to break can us blue loctite if you want but its not needed the rubber tip keeps the screws from backing out. Adaptor plate works with both Gen 4 and Gen 5 fuel cans up to the 3 gallon size. Do not use stackable accesories this system is only designed for one item also do not excede factory reccomended weight limits. If you decide you want to directly bolt the adaptor plate to your machine you can. The bolt pattern that attaches the adaptor blocks to the plate are the same so all you need to do is remove the plastic factory ATACH mounts and use 1/4-20 flat head screws to attach to your sleds tunnel. Must make sure the hardware does not protrude above the plate surface or else it could cause issues mounting LINQ accesories.
